The Moscow municipal deputy of the Tver district from the Yabloko party Ketevan Haraidze announced a hunger strike on the day of her arrest in the fraud case. Her lawyer told Radio "Echo of Moscow" about this. The message does not specify whether any requirements are put forward.
Haraidze was detained on the night of June 18. Before that, she had a search at her house. She is suspected of fraud. The investigation considers such an attempt by the deputy to impede the commissioning of an elite residential complex in the center of Moscow. According to her approval, the house was built with violations and was supposed to overload the district sewage system.
