The television journalist, the head of the “public television of Russia” Anatoly Lysenko died at the age of 84, TASS reports, referring to the press service of the OTR.

Lysenko died after a long illness, said the representative of the OTR. Baza reports that the journalist was sick with coronavirus infection.
Vladimir Putin expressed deep condolences to the relatives and friends of Lysenko, said the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.
Anatoly Lysenko - a journalist, director, producer, has been working on television since 1968. In the late 1980s, he led the View program. Lysenko said that it was he who offered the journalist to Vlad Listyev the idea of the “Field of Miracles” program, which he spied on French TV. From 1990 to 1996, Lysenko was the general director of VGTRK. In the 1990s, he also participated in the creation of the TV Center TV channel (now TVC). In 2012, he became the head of the “public television of Russia”.
