Alexander Lyubimov and Vladimir Molchanov - about Anatoly Lysenko

Anatoly Grigoryevich Lysenko died, one of the pillars of domestic television, half a century ago his first broadcast took place - a discussion on the most important, as it seemed to him, the topic: which is more important - friendship or love. He created the television company VGTRK, TV Center and OTR, believing that human is more important than politics, that human is the main essence of television.

Together with Eduard Sagalaev in the youth edition, they began the living, real television, which, it seemed, had no statute of limitations, which was facing a person. "Youth" at that moment was the main lighthouse for all of us. New ideas, bright projects were born there.

Usually everyone recalls the "look". Well, because he was waiting, he was imprudently honest, dare. But in fact, because even before that they did wonderful projects. Remember the “12th floor”, where adolescents discussed the most burning, most complex, sometimes forbidden topics. “Peace and Youth” - in fact, documentaries about the life of young people. And these programs were in demand, they were waiting. The brilliant brave series “Our Biography” is a cycle of 60 documentaries in which the current of history, the stories of eyewitnesses. And there were KVN, “You can”, “Come on, girls”, “Come on, guys”, “Young addresses”.

Around these projects there was a whole team of not just talented authors, but individuals. Anatoly Grigoryevich himself was incredibly educated, while he understood how to work with such uncouth, unaccounted journalists like me. Working with him was the best of possible schools.

He was the fundamental center of many programs. The initiative, responsibility, and control were important here. In general, he is an outstanding example of a teacher, teacher, professional for me.

How did he build his television? Together with Sagalaev, they knew how to turn and keep the attention of millions of spectators on a close -up man.

If now for people who have never seen a “look”, it seems that it was an anti-Soviet program, such as “Voice of America” ( we are forced to indicate that this radio station is considered by the Russian authorities by the media, the foreign agent. - Ed. ), This is not so. We were interested in the fate of ordinary people, those who ignore the TV today. Unless of course, they do not live in the Donbass. Today, the conditional Donbass replaced the "unemployed New York", about which the Soviet CT sang angrily. For Lysenko, the life of ordinary people was the priority history: their fate, worldview, pain, interests, hobbies, mistakes, hopes.

By the way, if you looked at the OTR, and there were attempts to be in the current difficult situation to be interested in the life of a large country, regions - and quite curious ones.

And from what Lysenko and Sagalaev created are still alive and are interested in the huge audience of the program “Field of Miracles”, “What? Where? When? ”,“ KVN ”. After all, not about guessing the words, the program “Field of Miracles”, on the set of which I was yesterday. About human love relationships: people come from different weights to the capital, convey greetings to their own. Bring all sorts of things from pies to mushrooms. Their town, the village is going to root for them. This is the moment of communication of Moscow with the country. If you look at the ratings, the “field of miracles” - in the first lines. Friday hit. By the way, I recall, we shot the first programs “Fields ...”, when Tolya had already left for Russian TV, but he participated in the gestation of the popular program. They and Vlad Listyev went to Paris to take a special issue, and saw a similar show there.

And the second most popular program, collecting the most different audience “Wait for me”, is also a quarter of a century soon. In general, so many diverse, substantial television was created. It just thundered “looked at” because he coincided with the time of changes, tough discussions about the fate of the Fatherland, in which thought and pain have affected ideology.

And Lysenko also believed that if you work as a journalist, your point of view is in the last place, you cannot operate a microphone and a camera, acting on millions of people,

To express your immature thoughts. We were taught that the work of a journalist to compare different, sometimes polar points of view. You go to the hinterland, here is the opinion of the party leader, here is a worker. So that the audience can compose its idea of ​​what is happening.

Now all the presenters are the Messiah: they broadcast as the last instances. Yes, and those who were completely invisible against the backdrop of Svanidze, Sveta Sorokina, Zhenya Kiselev, Sergey Dorenko work. Another era. Other scales.

When they are on the air of Klonsky, they play stories about bad Ukraine, Poland, America ... I think that they were bad students of good teachers, and took all the most bad from the Soviet television of the Cold War. Therefore, their loud political show, unlike the programs of "Youth", do not collect more than one and a half million spectators.

Our teachers, and Anatoly Grigoryevich, first of all, taught us restraints, attentiveness, self -irony and respect for the audience. The opportunity to give people to think, empathize, make decisions themselves.

I called it only Anatoly Grigoryevich, not allowing myself to switch to "you." It was a distance of respect. We met when the first issue “before and after midnight” came out. And despite the fact that he was jealous - the “look” rehearsed a similar program for six months, and we made it as if on one inhalation - sincerely congratulated me, saying kind words.

In our professional community, he was one of the most educated, smart and decent people. I will tell you qualities, not so often found in our environment.

We went on business trips, watched regional programs, presented TEFI. When they arrived in Yaroslavl, Perm, Khanty-Mansiysk, he watched with no interest in what and how was happening in the province. And with such infinite tenderness, he talked about his daughter Maryan. The times were difficult, we saw how the girls on the periphery were ready, for the sake of survival, to advertise linen, Anatoly Grigoryevich took it close to heart. His television was concerned first of all to the real and future young people. And he was happy that his daughter devoted herself to a real cause - medicine. The paradox that Maryana Anatolyevna Lysenko, a wonderful doctor, chief physician of the 52nd hospital saved me from Covid, and ... could not help my father.

Tomorrow we have a ceremony “TEFI Slate painting of Victory”, which awards awards for military reports, feature films. I think that part of the evening is devoted to the memory of Anatoly Grigoryevich.

Of course, for all of us this is a serious loss: both human and professional.

Television Lysenko is distinguished by sincerity pain.

And yet. He raised and created everyone: Listyev, Lyubimova, Sasha Politkovsky gave so much. He knew how to sculpt from the people of those whom the whole country knew, honored, loved or even hated. Because the truth is an uncomfortable thing. And the truth and the experience of what was happening in the country was in the first place for him. Today it’s hard to imagine it. But it was.

When we talked with him, he somehow easily, touchingly, suddenly switched from “television” conversations on the most unexpected topics, for example, about flowers, plants, clouds. He was worried and interested in all the inflorescences of life.
