In Ufa, the FSB detained six people after searches. Presumably in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case

FSB officers conducted mass searches in Ufa in the morning and detained six people, allegedly in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case. This was reported by the activists of " Parental Solidarity " to OVD-Info.

Among those detained are Radik Talipov, Renat Yansitov, Marat Bashirov, Farit Kharisov, Idris Sharipov and Timur Khabibullin. Another resident of Ufa was released by the FSB to take the children home, but they promised to pick him up later.

The detainees are charged with participation in a terrorist organization (Part 2, Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code). One of them, according to unconfirmed information, is the organization of a terrorist organization (part 1 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code).

According to the relatives of the detainees, the searches took place in the morning "without too much noise." Some officers were armed and threatened the detainees with weapons. Other details are being specified.

According to Parental Solidarity, these are the first arrests in the case of involvement in Hizb ut-Tahrir in Bashkortostan since 2018. Some of the detainees helped the families of people taken into custody and convicted in other Hizb ut-Tahrir cases in the republic.

23 June 09:15 Radik Talipov, Farit Kharisov and Timur Khabibullin were left in custody, the rest of the detainees were released. According to "Parental Solidarity", on June 23, a trial will be held to select a measure of restraint.

• Hizb ut-Tahrir was recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia. Its participants are accused and sentenced to real terms only on the basis that they met in apartments, read religious literature and recruited new participants. According to the information and analytical center "Sova", the party is recognized as a terrorist in Russia unlawfully.
