Peskov: Invalid discrimination awaits unvaccinated

Russians without immunity to coronavirus will pose a threat to others, so discrimination in this regard is inevitable, said Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

"The reality is that discrimination will inevitably occur. People without immunity and without vaccination will not be able to work in all areas. This is impossible," Peskov said , commenting on the words of the Ombudsman about the "discrimination" of unvaccinated.

Earlier, the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia, Tatyana Moskalkova, said that she received many complaints about discrimination from people who have not vaccinated from Covid-19. According to her, despite the fact that the idea of vaccination is correct, coercion to vaccinate is a "dishonest game." And threats in relation to those who cannot be vaccinated due to medical indications, according to Moskalkova, can be considered as a violation of human rights.

• Due to the increase in the incidence of coronavirus infection in the regions of Russia, mandatory vaccination and new restrictive measures began to be introduced. The first region where mandatory vaccination was introduced by Moscow. It was followed by the suburbs, Kuzbass, Leningrad, Tver and Sakhalin regions, as well as Tula, the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Murmansk region.
• The authorities of the Leningrad region introduced voluntary passports of coronavirus security for business. Organizations will be able to get it in the staff of which 80% of "safe" employees: vaccinated or recently ill. Coronavirus restrictions do not apply to the owners of such passports.
