Group video chats launched on Telegram

The Telegram messenger has launched a long-awaited big update - now it has group video chats like Zoom, which, if necessary, easily turn ordinary voice forums.

Telegram's post about the update states that:

• a video conference can be started from voice chats in any group;

• the administrator can still create a voice chat with one click, it turns into a video chat if at least one participant turns on the video mode;

• you can share the screen and video from the camera in groups of up to 30 participants, but this limit will be increased soon;

• there is still no limit on the number of participants in voice chats;

• for mobile devices there is a simultaneous broadcast mode from the front and main cameras, for tablets and PCs there is a side panel mode optimized for a large horizontal screen.

Telegram founder Pavel Durov promised to launch video chats this spring. He promised to make this feature both convenient and secure, a combination that, according to him, no one has yet implemented on the market.
