Why the state cannot convince people to be vaccinated

I do not support the widespread opinion that stupid anti -prismaries are to blame for everything. Like, all the troubles are from people who do not understand anything in medicine and biology. In my opinion, this is deeply wrong. Yes, the fundamental "anti -Vaxeres" exist, but there are relatively few of them. In our country, despite the long -available free vaccine, only every tenth is vaccinated. Two -thirds of the population, according to polls, are not going to vaccinate at all.

We look at things sensibly: you should not expect from most of the inhabitants of our Motherland, like any other country, thoughtful reading of articles in The Lancet. Or an understanding of how the vector vaccine works. What is there, before that, most domestic doctors are far away. Most are forced to make a decision in conditions of complete uncertainty - in the field in which they absolutely do not orient themselves. Studies show that in such cases it is important not knowledge as such, but the presence or absence of trust in existing - and, as a rule, created by the state - procedures. They don't trust them with us.

This distrust arose on well -fertile soil. It was practically inevitable in an environment where officials and special services try to steer with medical processes.

Also, obsessed with secret special operations and an imaginary "geopolitical confrontation." So, the race was harmful in the medium term to make the vaccine the first in the world. I would suggest that her team launched from above, although this could be a desire to distinguish from below. One way or another, the priority of this goal over the solution of epidemiological or economic problems was visible in everything - from a stupid name to filling the Russian press after registering the “satellite V” of victorious relations. Alas, in pursuit of the target, the corners inevitably had to cut.

The haste came out sideways to us: the vaccine is far from registration with European regulatory authorities, Slovakia turns the vaccination with a “satellite V” due to low demand (but leaves Pfizer/Biontech, Moderna and Astrazeneca). Without registration in Europe, the “satellite” does not open the opportunity to travel around the EU without quarantine, which means that it does not create additional value for the consumer. You can look for the machinations of enemies in this, but I see the logical consequences of the priority of political goals over medical.

Moreover, we do not want and do not know how to work in accordance with the rules for studying the effectiveness and safety of the drug adopted in developed countries. In a sense, nothing particularly outrageous by the standards of the Russian farm market this time happened. The Hamale Institute did everything as it is usually done with us, maybe even in places it is better. Yes, the registration has passed without convincing evidence of efficiency and safety. But we have entire classes of drugs that are not recognized in the rest of the world. The pharmacies are full of dummies that do not have minimally acceptable evidence of effectiveness or even obviously ineffective ones. The insufficient transparency of the research of Russian anti -icing vaccines at an early stage is a natural continuation of the absolute opacity that we have accompanied the access to the drug market. Let me remind you that the Russian Ministry of Health has been ignoring the law for many years that requires publishing the results of the examination of drugs entering the market.

What is happening with the second vaccine (“Epivaccoron” from the “Vector”) clearly demonstrates that the fears are not nervous. The effectiveness of "Epivaccorons" is in question today. Against this background, reports began to appear that people were vaccinated with “Epivacian” under the guise of a “satellite”. My elderly relatives, who asked in the clinic of the "satellite", were injected with "Epivacian" - supposedly better for the elderly. At the same time, apparently, they gave them to sign informed consent and included in the study without explaining what was happening.

In addition to the features of the Russian pharmaceutical market, there is another source of distrust. The fight against the epidemic requires solidarity and involvement of the whole society. It is not easy to lead where the authorities communicate with the population mainly in the “Covering Operation” mode.

The vaccine epic unfolded parallel to scandals with poisoning of Navalny and other involuntary citizens. What was supposed to happen in the head of the layman of any political orientation?

Well, about talking heads. We do not know exactly how the inexpensive law on enlightenment influenced the activity of those leaders of opinions who could now use this “dangerous” enlightenment to convince the need for vaccination. He, of course, could push, demotivate and force a part of those to whom the population trusts more than TV propagandists. The “knowledge” of “knowledge” of success in this field, reanimated with the pomp and the burnt society, is also not yet visible.

So I think that what is happening is not at all about anti -Vaccinators. This is a diagnosis of the existing model of the country's management and the resulting relations between the authorities and society. Contrary to surveys, ratings, processions, ribbons in the car and we can repeat, we are not ready for real consolidation and confrontation to the common enemy where we need minimal effort and risk. A trip to the clinic is far from death in the trenches. Something needs to be done.
