The court in St. Petersburg fined Lenfilm

The Petrograd District Court fined Lenfilm for 50 thousand rubles for the unsatisfactory condition of the main building on Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt. This was reported by the United press service of the city courts.

The audit, which was carried out in the summer of 2020, showed that chips and cracks, pollution, problems with paint and brickwork are observed along the perimeter of the studio buildings. In the lobby on the ground floor, walls were painted without the permission of the KGIOP.

The defense side presented written explanations, indicating that the film studio does not dispute violations. The lawyer tells that Lenfilm is in a difficult financial situation, and also has already eliminated part of the violations (air conditioners and ventilation equipment are dismantled).

In recent months, the news feeds of St. Petersburg have been overwhelmed with reports of plaster falling from the walls, cut balconies and fires at historical facilities. "Paper" said what is happening with the buildings and why not only the authorities are to blame for the decline, but also you and I.
