Rospotrebnadzor was not interested in “scarlet sails”, but checks Fox Rock Fest, at which unprecedented security measures were taken

The Office of Rospotrebnadzor in the Lipetsk Region checks the Fox Rock Fest festival, which took place on the Green Island on June 26 and 27. According to representatives of the department, the organizers were forbidden to hold an event due to a complex epidomation, but they claim that they did not receive any instructions.

The situation is also aggravated by the fact that the festival took unprecedented security measures for Russia: the organizers purchased 18,000 PCR tests at their own expense and began to test guests the day before the opening. It was possible to get to the site only by receiving a negative result or by presenting a certificate of the presence of antibodies or a vaccination certificate.

15,482 people were tested, another 2604 brought in certificates and certificates, 15 revealed infection, they were sent for treatment.

- The feeling that the festivals were declared war, although it was the format of open -air events that are the safest now. You can, of course, follow the simplest way - close and ban everything. But people in any case will gather somewhere: on the beach, on barbecue, in restaurants-and there will be an invisible to the officials of the virus, ”says Alexander Kolesnikov, Executive Director of Fox Rock Fest. - It is much better to make rest safe. And we did it. Several people were identified, sent home, told Rospotrebnadzor. They distributed masks at the entrance, provided the territory with sanitizers and a sanitary, at the entrance there was an installation for the thermometry of visitors. Thus, all our guests felt safe. The region, for its part, organized a mobile group for everyone who wants to vaccinate.

According to Kolesnikov, he does not know about any sanctions of Rospotrebnadzor due to Fox Rock Fest. “The department did not prohibit the holding of the festival,” he insists.

Earlier, due to the instructions of Rospotrebnadzor, festivals “Wild Mint” and “Invasion” were canceled. But the department did not see the problem in conducting “scarlet sails” in St. Petersburg-the image project of the banker and friend of President Vladimir Putin Yuri Kovalchuk (40,000 people gathered for the holiday), as well as in the All-Russian Cross Barnaul-Korobeynikovo, in which, according to Taiga.info, several hundred believers took part.
