Roskomnadzor filed a lawsuit on the ban on the bot "Eye of God"

Roskomnadzor filed a lawsuit in the Tagansky District Court of Moscow with a request to block the telegram-boot to search for contacts on the databases of the "Eye of God". “Kommersant” drew attention to the card card .

The regulator filed a lawsuit against the administrator of the service Evgeny Antipov, the meeting was scheduled for July 1. According to the document, the “eye of God” violates the rights of citizens “by accessing an indefinite circle of persons to their personal data without their appropriate consent”.

Roskomnadzor asks to recognize the work of the service illegal and violates the right to inviolability of private life. In the case of blocking a telegram boss through the court, the “eye of God” can be introduced to the register of violators of the rights of personal data subjects, the lawsuit is noted.

On April 7, the security forces searched the employee of the "Eye of God."

“The Eye of God” is one of the telegram bots, collecting information about the Russians on the basis of both open and closed databases. On March 9, Roskomnadzor demanded that the messenger limit the work of such bots due to violation of the law on the protection of personal data. On March 12, at least 5 largest bots were blocked , but then some of them restored the work.
