A Severodvinsk sailor bought a certificate of coronavirus infection so as not to serve for two months

The Severodvinsk Garrison Military Court found fleet captain Kirill Malkov guilty of forging a PCR test for coronavirus to evade service (Part 1 of Article 339 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by the main military investigative department of the Investigative Committee.

In St. Petersburg, Malkov bought a certificate of a positive PCR test and on September 30 sent a photo of it to the leadership of the unit, who demanded self-isolation. Malkov returned to the unit only on December 2 with copies of certificates of infection; the originals, he said, he forgot.

Investigators noted that during these two months Malkov flew from St. Petersburg to Krasnodar. In court, he said that he went home to visit his mother and bury the ashes of his grandmother. According to him, he did not falsify the coronavirus tests.

At the same time, according to the case file, before arriving at the unit, Malkov took a PCR test and a test for antibodies to coronavirus at the clinic, and they were negative.
