In the city of Murino, the Leningrad Region, robots-couriers began the work. “Rovers” deliver orders from Yandex.Dera and Yandex.lovka to residential buildings, moving along the sidewalks at a speed of 5-8 km/h. They cross the road along the crossing and to the green traffic light, and the battery charge should be enough for the whole day.

The delivery option “Rover” can be selected in the application at the order stage, upon arrival, the user will receive a notification and will be able to press the “Open Clust” button on the smartphone to pick up the food. Prior to this, robots-couriers worked in Innopolis and some areas of Moscow.

"Paper" shows how the inhabitants of Murina react to robots, and on Twitter joke about "Cyber-Murino".

Robot Courier "Rover" about half a meter high. In shape, it resembles a mini-cooler or vacuum cleaner and stands on six wheels. His "trunk" is a compartment for storing orders. And he received his name "Rover" in honor of self -propelled spacecraft. According to the creators, he is completely autonomous: he plans his own route, assesses the situation around and circles obstacles. It has been tested since 2019.

On Twitter they are already joking about Cyber-Murino. Sounds! Strange, of course, sounds, but nevertheless.
