A student from Novosibirsk was suspected of driving a girl to suicide, in front of whom he stabbed her friend to death

A student from Novosibirsk, accused of murdering his friend (point “e” of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code), will also be tried under the article on inciting an ex-girlfriend to commit suicide (Part 1 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by the Department of the Investigative Committee for the Novosibirsk Region.

According to Taiga.info, we are talking about 23-year-old student Denis Miller, who on February 16 stabbed Denis Gubarev in front of his girlfriend Sophia out of jealousy.

According to investigators, Miller dated Sophia from August 2018 to November 2020, humiliating her and cruelly treating the girl. In addition, the Investigative Committee claims that the murder of Gubarev influenced the deceased. The accused stabbed the 26-year-old student several times in front of her eyes.

The body of NSTU student Sophia was discovered on March 12. Then the interlocutor of RIA Novosti in law enforcement agencies reported that no traces of violent death were found on the body.

In February, Miller was sent to a pre-trial detention center on a murder case (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code), as stated on the website of the Leninsky District Court of Novosibirsk.
