“This is not a move for life, but simply, essentially, a vacation for an indefinite period of time. For security reasons, I do not want and cannot say where I am now. After all the trials, I decided to take a break and with renewed vigor I will continue the fight against United Russia and campaign for Smart Voting,” Panchenko commented on her departure.

Starting in the spring of 2021, employees of FBK and Navalny’s headquarters began to leave Russia en masse. Thus, in May 2021, the former head of Navalny’s headquarters in Kaliningrad, Maria Petukhova, and the former volunteer of the Arkhangelsk branch of Navalny’s team, Dmitry Baturo, left the country.
