The Zavodsky District Court in Kemerovo, at an appeal hearing, overturned the arrest of the former head of Navalny’s local headquarters, Stanislav Kalinichenko, appointed before Vladimir Putin’s visit to the city. Mediazona reports this.
On July 5, Kalinichenko was detained and arrested for 10 days. The formal reason for the administrative punishment was the alleged failure to pay alimony (Article 5.35.1 of the Administrative Code).
As the 7×7 portal explains , the activist’s defender Sergei Chuvichkin indicated in the appeal that at the time of drawing up the administrative protocol, Kalinichenko had no alimony arrears. The case has been sent back for retrial.
