In Perm, the election officer did not allow the ex-head of the headquarters of Navalny to become a candidate for deputies

The territorial election commission of the Dzerzhinsky district refused the former head of the Perm headquarters of Navalny (the organization was recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation) Sergei Ustrov in the right to become a candidate for deputies. The politician wrote on Twitter that formally this decision was based on the position of the Ministry of Justice, who established his connection with the extremist organization.

Ukhov believes that this ban is not justified and not legal, since the decision to recognize the Navalny Extremist organization headquarters has not entered into legal force. He clarified that for refusing a citizen to elect a separate court decision is required against him personally.

According to the politician, he was not allowed to get acquainted with the Ministry of Justice’s response to the request of the election commission so that he could prepare objections and formulate his position. He added that the decision of the election commission will appeal in court.

President Vladimir Putin signed a law on June 4, which is called the "Law against the FBK." According to the document, now it is impossible to be elected to power to people who worked in "extremist" organizations or helped them. A week later, the Moscow City Court recognized the regional headquarters of Alexei Navalny as extremist organizations, as well as the oppositionist of the Corruption Fund (FBK) and the Fund for Protection of the Rights of Citizens. They stopped working.

The Russian government continues to replenish the lists of foreign agents ”, adding non -profit organizations, the media, journalists, politicians, activists and human rights activists. We are forced to indicate that the Corruption Fund and the Fund for Protection of Citizens' Rights are included in the “Register of NPOs that perform the function of a foreign agent”, and in addition, are recognized as extremist organizations, whose activities are prohibited throughout the Russian Federation.
