Barnaul: The City Hall banned a picket against vaccination

The Barnaul City Hall banned the previously permitted picket against compulsory vaccination from Covid-19. The reason for the officials called the tightening of safety measures due to the pandemia of the coronavirus, writes the Bankfax publication with reference to anonymous sources.

Officials said that the picket is contrary to the new coronavirus restrictions introduced in the Altai Territory on July 5. At the same time, officials previously held several mass events in the city and the region. For example, at the end of June, dozens of residents of Barnaul went on a weekly procession to the village of Korobeynikovo, to the Miraculous Icon of the Kazan Mother of God.

The organizers of the action against the obligatory vaccination of the authorities notified the refusal to hold the picket on July 6, warning activists about liability for the event without the approval of the city hall.

In early July, the mass picket was agreed in the Barnaul Hyde Park - on the Boulevard of the Defenders of Stalingrad (according to the law, up to 100 people can gather without notification) on July 11. Before that, the mayor's office banned shares on two other sites, announcing that the protesters "will distract the attention of drivers and pedestrians."
