Omsk: Fountains in the city will work only in 2022

At least 40 million rubles are needed to repair fountains in Omsk, said the mayor of Oksana Fadina. Now most of these objects are in disrepair and turned off. Work on their reconstruction will begin no earlier than the summer of 2022, now there is no money in the municipal budget for these purposes. This year it is planned to prepare design documentation.

Some of the fountains were transferred to the Omsk City Hall to the city water utility this year. Officials said that they all need overhaul. Their operation is unacceptable and unsafe. However, public utilities stated that all objects were working.
