The court recognized as legal a 150 thousand ruble fine for a Navalny supporter due to a single picket at the AP

The Moscow City Court upheld a fine of 150 thousand rubles to Navalny supporter Christina Johnson-Ramirez due to a single picket at the presidential administration. She told Open Media about this.

Johnson-Ramirez was found guilty under the article of repeated violation of the law on rallies (Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code).

The activist was detained on February 25 when she stood in front of the presidential administration with a poster “Where is Navalny?” On that day, the politician was transferred from the pre-trial detention center to an unknown direction. On February 26, the Tverskoy District Court imposed a fine on her.

  • In April 2021, activist Christina Johnson-Ramirez was detained near Pokrovsk Colony No. 2, where Alexei Navalny is serving his sentence.
