The next day of the marathon is continued by Alexander Cheparukhin, one of the most famous festival figures in Russia and (absolutely invaluable) producer of “summer agents”. He represents Remix to the song “Slavic dances” of the “Moral Code” group - with a clip according to the script of the writer Vladimir Sorokin. He also shares an exciting story about his old friend, the leader of the “moral code” Sergey Mazaeva.

Seryozha Mazaev, I have known for more than 40 years. Worked with him at Moscow State University, at the same department of environmental management. We drank beer with shrimp in the "shell". Seryozha played on a saxophone. I perceived it as his hobby. In 1981, I became the champion of Moscow State University in discos. The first DJ university! They even began to invite me to other universities. For some time we had a creative team in the following composition: I am a DJ and a presenter, such as a mass-winter, Igor Matvienko on the keys, Sergey Popov Popov on the guitar (in the future-the guitarist of Aria and the Master), Masai-on the saxophone. For some reason, I do not remember anything about the bassist and drummer-perhaps there were not at all.
Somehow we are walking along the alleys of Moscow State University. And he to me: “Here you listen to how I sing:“ Feelings, Nothing More than Feelings, Trying to ForGet My Feelings of Love. Well, how? " “Super,” I say - this is an irresistible baritone! ” It turns out that these were the first days in the ensemble of the Palace of Culture of the Moscow State University “Mosaic” Chepizhev-Malezhik, and “Feelings” became the first song of Sergey in this composition. Seryozha was even going to make a song or two for my poems. It didn’t work out.
After Moscow State University, we talked with Sergey much less often. Once I saw him on the central TV as a soloist-vocalist of the ensemble “Hello, Song”, I was surprised. Well, when the Moral Code appeared, I was delighted. For many years it was the strongest, most proprietary group of the country. And Mazai became a real star, celebrity, flashed endlessly on the TV screen.
We have not seen each other for years. But somehow I came to the club concert "Code". Seeing me in the forefront, Masai at the same second began to sing my youthful poems:
Doors oak, strong, new, rusty iron castle,
The world is multicolored outside the core door, a tedious lesson stretches,
They teach us smart minds are different, smoothly their speeches flow,
Quietly, swimmily in chorus, we will second, in a blade, clinging into the wrapping ...

The events of the last decade completely divorced us. In 2012, Mazaev recorded a pre-election video for Putin, became his confidant. In 2018-again Putin's confidant. My youthful naive verses again became relevant.
From the very beginning of the Marathon Medusa, I realized that I really want almost impossible - to see Mazaev and the “moral code” in it. He called Sergey. He answers: "I have everything in the songs, choose any one."
Well, I chose the little -known video of 2006 for Remix Slavic Dances. The song was recorded in 1997-therefore, the history of the country in faces ends Yeltsin. The screenwriter of the clip is Vladimir Sorokin (who, by the way, was delighted with the excellent clip “Not the limit” of Nike Borzov in our marathon). This is not the only cooperation of Sorokin and Mazaev: Sergey also played in the film “Kopeik” by Ivan Dykhovichny according to the script of Sorokin.
Music for "Slavic dances" was written by Nikolai Devlet-Kildeev, and the words Pavel Zhagun. The director of the clip is Evgeny Mitrofanov. Remixers - British, famous producers and musicians: Chris Kimsey - co -producer of the two albums The Rolling Stones "Undercover" and "Steel Wheels". And Craigie Dodds, he is also the author of the English translation of “Slavic dances”: Dodds is known for writing music and texts and was the producer of the works of such artists as Amy Winehouse, Sugababes, Leon Lewis, Eliza Dullyz and others.
