The court released Ketevan Haraidze from the pre -trial detention center

The Moscow City Court replaced the measure of restraint from the detention for household arrest to the municipal deputy Ketevan Haraidze. This was reported by the journalist "Mediazons" Lisa Nesterova.

Before the meeting, the head of the Yabloko party, Grigory Yavlinsky, said that he was ready to provide a deposit for the amount of a million rubles to release the Mundue from the pre -trial detention center.

Haraidze is accused under an article on fraud (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code). On June 19, the Khamovnican District Court of Moscow appointed her a preventive measure and sent to a pre -trial detention center. In protest, the politician announced a hunger strike, for some time she was not brought to the camera. The woman is 63 years old, she stopped the hunger strike on June 28.

In May, the deputy announced its intention to participate in the September elections to the State Duma. On June 17, the security forces came to her home. They seized the phone, computer and took out two five thousandth bills from her coats. The politician told her neighbor Varvara Gornostaeva that she did not put this money in the coat. Then Kharaidze was taken to the Investigative Committee for a night interrogation, a lawyer was not allowed to go to her for a long time.

• Ketevan Kharaidze is a municipal deputy of the Tver district of Moscow. On her Facebook page, she talks about the problems of improvement of the district. In May 2021, Haraidzedecided to run for the State Duma. She connects criminal prosecution with this decision.
• On June 17, Haraidzewas vaccinated against coronavirus. Possible side effects did not prevent the security forces from taking her away after a search for a night interrogation, and the court should appoint the most stringent possible preventive measure.
• Residents of the Central Administrative District of Moscow launched a petition in support of Ketevan Haraidze. During the evening of June 19, the petition scored more than a thousand signatures. The Mediazona also released material on the persecution of the Mundee.
