Former FBK operator Pavel Zelensky, convicted in the case of calls for extremism (Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code), is in quarantine in IK-2, Tula region. On May 5 he was transferred from pre-trial detention center-3. This was reported to OVD-Info by Yulia Ladunova, who corresponds with Zelensky.
“Now I am in quarantine at PKU IK-2, perhaps next week I will be transferred to the camp itself,” Zelensky said in his last letter.
On July 9, the wife of the former cameraman, Natalia Zelenskaya, published a post on Twitter with an excerpt from his first letter from the colony. In it, Zelensky shared that he was at the TPP (transit and forwarding point) in IK-2. Then he was not told how long he would stay in the colony: “How long I’ll be here and where I’ll go next—I don’t know yet, maybe a couple of days, maybe a couple of weeks, until no one told me that.”
