Several processions took place in Paris, which gathered a total of about two thousand people. Most of the protesters gathered in the squares of the republic and cliches. They chanted “freedom, freedom”, “we are against the dictatorship”, “there is no sanitary pass”.

In the French capital, the police used tear gas against demonstrators who began to arrange riots - for example, specifies Le Parisien, they set fire to the garbage tanks that came in the way. Due to tear gas, the security forces had to evacuate visitors to the veranda of restaurants and cafes. At the East Station, reports Le Monde, several hundred protesters built barricades.
According to Le Parisien with reference to law enforcement officers, at 17:00 Paris time (18:00 Moscow time), almost eighteen thousand protesters entered the streets of French cities. Of these, about 1000 gathered in the north - in Lille, about the same - in the south, in Toulouse and in Lyon. The rallies also took place in Nan, Rouen, Bordeaux, Strasbourg, Marseille, and other cities.

By the evening, the situation worsened: a video appeared on social networks in which the police of Lyon ran away from aggressively tuned demonstrators.
In Ansi (city in the Alps), a group of opponents of vaccination entered the gates of the prefecture. About 150 people stayed there for about an hour and a half, and then parted. The Minister of Internal Affairs of France Gerard Darmanen condemned the actions of the protesters. “I strongly condemn the invasion of people into the prefecture of Verkhnyaya Savoy this afternoon. Complete support to state forces that acted calmly, ”he wrote on Twitter.
