The Arkhangelsk Regional Court reduced the sentence of ex-local coordinator Andrei Borovikov to two years and three months in a general regime colony for reposting the Rammstein group's video for the song Pussy. This was reported by the Network Freedoms project with reference to lawyer Alexey Kychin.
Due to the fact that Borovikov added a clip to his videos on VKontakte in 2014, he was found guilty in April of distributing pornography via the Internet (clause “b” of Part 3 of Article 242 of the Criminal Code). The court sentenced him to two and a half years in prison.
A sexological and cultural examination concluded that the Pussy video contains pornographic scenes and has no cultural value.
The song Pussy from the 2009 album Liebe ist für alle da is about a German man who travels abroad for casual sex because he is obsessed with it. In the video for this song, the band members are presented as men from porn films, and at the end of the video they have sex. In the classic version of the video, the nude footage is blurred.
