Law enforcement officers searched the house of a resident of the village of Razvilka in the Moscow region, an Azerbaijani citizen Gunduz Babayev. This was reported to OVD-Info by his wife Alexandra. After the search, Babaev was detained for interrogation at the Investigative Committee, but now his whereabouts are unknown.
The search began at about six in the morning. Two cell phones were confiscated from Babayev, and the security forces were also looking for documentation and literature. According to his wife, the detainee was shown “extremist” pictures with a machine gun and “Arabic script”. Babaev was asked about his acquaintance with a certain Jalil Abubakirov .
After that, the man was taken for interrogation, according to security officials, to the department of the Investigative Committee for the North-Eastern District of Moscow. His wife was unable to obtain information on her husband's whereabouts from the department's employees.
The status of the detainee is unknown, since the security forces did not allow the family to carefully read the resolutions.
19:30 Gunduz Babayev was released from the police department in the Babushkinsky district, where he had been all this time. This was reported to OVD-Info by his wife. The phones confiscated during the search were not returned to the Azerbaijani citizen.
