The court approved the verdict of Ivan Kholod, a defendant in the “palace case” from Bryansk

The Bryansk Regional Court upheld the sentence of the defendant in the “palace case”, Ivan Kholod, without changes. At the meeting, the prosecutor asked to tighten the punishment. This was reported by Open Media with reference to the press service of the court.

On May 13, the Sovetsky District Court of Bryansk fined Kholod 160 thousand rubles under the article on the use of violence against a police officer (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code). According to investigators, during a rally in support of Alexei Navalny on January 23, which took place in the Bryansk park at the Mound of Immortality, a man hit a police officer with his hand. The accused admitted his guilt.
