The detention of a Buryat activist in Poland, interrogations of Navalny’s team members and the extension of the preventive measure for DOXA journalists and those involved in the “sanitary” case - we talk about the main thing for July 21.

• Former director of Open Russia Andrei Pivovarov had his arrest extended until October. He is charged with participation in the activities of an undesirable organization.
• The Moscow City Court upheld the ban on certain actions by the editors of the DOHA student magazine Alla Gutnikova, Natasha Tyshkevich, Vladimir Metelkin and Armen Aramyan. They are accused of involving minors in dangerous activities.
• The court also extended the preventive measure for the defendants in the “sanitary case” Dmitry Baranovsky, Lyusya Stein, Kira Yarmysh and Oleg Stepanov. They are under house arrest or prohibited from certain activities on charges of inciting violations of sanitary and epidemiological regulations.
• Jehovah's Witness from Krasnoyarsk Alexander Filatov was sent to a pre-trial detention center. The believer is charged with organizing the activities of an extremist organization (Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code). His co-religionists from the cities of Maisky and Kodinsk were searched.
• The Court of Appeal confirmed the sentence of Crimean Tatar activist Enver Topci in the case of “non-information”. Previously, he was fined 40 thousand rubles for not informing law enforcement about his communication on VKontakte with a person who allegedly called for participation in hostilities in Iraq.
• At the request from Moscow, human rights activist Evgeniy Khasoev, who headed the Buryat branch of the organization “Siberia without Torture” and helped victims of police violence,was detained in Warsaw. He was placed in a temporary detention center until the trial, where they would decide whether to extradite the activist to the Russian authorities.
• Former employees of Navalny's Voronezh headquarters Sofia Kapinosova and Andrei Akhmedulovare not in touch. Presumably, they were taken for interrogation to the Investigative Committee. The security forces also interrogated Tatyana Glinberg, ex-coordinator of Navalny’s Stavropol headquarters, in a fraud case brought against the politician.
• The court sent for review the claim of the defendant in the “New Greatness” case, Anna Pavlikova, against the Federal Penitentiary Service. The girl demands that the conditions in the pre-trial detention center where she was kept be recognized as torture.
