SK commented on a "private underground prison"

The Investigative Committee did not find traces of people in the basement of a private underground prison, which 47news journalists found in an abandoned village in the Vsevozsky district of the Leningrad region. This was announced by TASS with reference to the senior assistant to the head of the Investigative Department of the IC in the region, Maria Dobrynin.

According to Dobrynina, the basement was repeatedly examined by investigators and forensics, including three times with the participation of forensic investigators. In the course of research, more than 500 objects were seized, according to which more than 100 dactyloscopic, biological, molecular-genetic forensic examinations were performed. All of them did not find traces of people in the basement.

For the first time, a cottage with a bunker, subsequently nicknamed the “private prison”, investigators discovered during the investigation of the murder of a man whose body with gunshot wounds found their heads in the “Mercedes” on the Sortavala-St. Petersburg highway, Dobrynina says. She does not call the name of a man. Earlier, the REN TV channel stated that the bunker was held in the case of the murder of criminal authority of Badri Schengelia (he was shot on this route in Mercedes).

According to Dobrynin, the man was shot from another car, which later left towards one of the households of the Vsevolozhsk district. Studying the area, investigators discovered this cottage, which journalists spoke about in 2021. When the mentioned investigative actions were carried out, it is not specified.

SK notes that the land plot belongs to a Petersburger, who was repeatedly interrogated as a witness. He claims that he had never been on the site, and he was issued the ownership of him at the request of his acquaintance, who, in turn, fulfilled the request of another person who died several years ago. To date, the entrance to the basement is filled with sand at the request of the owner to the local administration, says Dobrynin.

The UK first publicly commented on a private underground prison. Earlier, the committee on the request of the “paper” about the situation replied that any information related to the case is not subject to disclosure. Now the Investigative Committee is continuing the investigation of the circumstances of the murder, including those related to this structure.
