The Perm authorities did not approve a rally for fair elections for the local National Bolsheviks

The authorities of Perm refused to allow the local nazbols to agree on a rally for fair elections. This is reported by the publication "Idel.Realii".

The notice of the rally on July 31 was submitted by the Moscow branch of the unregistered party The Other Russia E. V. Limonova. The Perm City Hall referred to the coronavirus pandemic and the need to coordinate the rally with the administration of the head of the region.

“According to their logic, we had to go to the governor a month before the event and ask for permission. There is nothing of the kind in FZ-54, moreover, it is violated, since the deadlines for filing are different. We are law-abiding citizens, so we will not hold a rally and do not call for anything. But the all-Russian action will take place in any case, ”said Kirill Imashev, head of the Perm branch of the National Bolsheviks, to Idel.Realii.

Earlier, the Moscow authorities also refused to approve a rally on July 31 in the capital. Party representatives said that they would not hold the planned event, but "an all-Russian action for fair elections and for admission to them of all really existing political forces will take place."

In what format the National Bolsheviks are going to hold an all-Russian action, the party has not yet specified.

• The Other Russia is an unregistered party founded in the summer of 2010 by members of the National Bolshevik Party (NBP), which was banned in Russia in 2007. Members of the party are called "National Bolsheviks" or "Limonovites" (after the founder of the party, Eduard Limonov).
