The Krasnoslobodsky District Court in the Volgograd Region on July 23 fined the civil activist Galina Tichenko for 150 thousand rubles. About this writes the "Caucasian knot".
Tichenko is 74 years old, she has a disability of the third group. The court found her guilty under an article on a repeated violation of the rally legislation (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) due to a picket against cutting oaks in the Volga-Akhtuba floodplain. The court found a violation that Tichenko stood next to another picket. What was the distance between them, the “Caucasian knot” does not specify.
The elderly activist was detained on the day of the trial, the police did not allow her to contact her relatives. “Putted as a recidivist. All this was done without a lawyer, did not let either take a picture of either a protocol or a resolution, ”commented lawyer Ivan Ivanov.
Since July 8, Galina Tichenko called from the Middle Akhtuba police department and invited to come. “I wanted them to call me a summons, but they did not send the agenda. They began to go home to me, it turned out that I was not at home, interviewed my neighbors - who I am and where I am. Today they came early in the morning. I did not open, they asked the neighbor to call me. I didn't go. Then I left the apartment, and I was stubborn. They took them by the arms and said: “We urgently went to the police department.” I asked to pick up the documents, money, they refused me, grabbed me. There were three police officers, they said that they had all my data. I said that I won’t go anywhere without documents. They held the door and waited for me to get together, ”Tichenko described in a conversation with the publication of the event on July 23.
The activist will appeal the court decision.
