A resident of Belgorod Anna Kharchenko, who was detained on an inconsistent action in support of Alexei Navalny on April 21, filed a lawsuit against the city Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of the Interior of Russia. The girl demands to pay her 1 million rubles. compensation for non -pecuniary damage. Anna Kharchenko was detained during an inconsistent campaign in support of Alexei Navalny on April 21. Without explanation, she was taken to the department by car without identification marks, where it was "cramped and stuffy." According to Kharchenko, the police were inspected, demanding to undress to underwear, they took a bank card and telephone, did not give water and kept more than three hours in a room without windows. The girl said that the police talked with her rudely and did not observe the social distance.

As a result, Kharchenko drew up an administrative protocol on a violation of the Procedure of the Promotion (Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation). She was faced with a fine or compulsory work. However, she filed a lawsuit in the Oktyabrsky District Court with a demand to recognize the actions of the police illegal. The court found that the police did not give the girl the opportunity to contact a lawyer and receive legal assistance. As a result, the court terminated the proceedings in the case of an administrative offense. The police tried to appeal the decision, but the Belgorod Regional Court upheld him.

After the detention, the girl turned to a psychologist with complaints of insomnia, anxiety, tearfulness, headaches, sleep deterioration and a sense of unsafe. The expert’s conclusion says that Kharenko’s condition worsened after the events of April 21 due to “a stressful situation related to the detention of law enforcement agencies”.

The lawyer Ilya Potemkin put the psychologist’s conclusion in the lawsuit against the city Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Kharchenko demands to award her 1 million rubles. compensation for non -pecuniary damage.
