Roskomnadzor demanded to block Lyubov Sobol's Twitter

Roskomnadzor sent a notification to Twitter demanding to block the account of a supporter of opposition leader Alexei Navalny, Lyubov Sobol.

“Not any single tweet, but the entire account. The notification came late last night. What is this if not the Kremlin’s hysteria before the elections?” Sobol wrote .

The lawyer attached screenshots of the notification to the message. It follows from the text that Roskomnadzor accused Sobol of "posting information disseminated in violation of the law." We are talking about “propaganda of the activities and implementation of activities” of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), the Fund for the Protection of Citizens’ Rights (FZPG) and the public movement “Navalny’s Headquarters” - their activities are recognized as extremist and banned in Russia. FBK and FZPG are also included in the list of foreign agents.

• This week, on July 26, Roskomnadzor, at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, blocked the website of Alexei Navalny (including the subsection "Freedom to Navalny!") and his associates - Leonid Volkov, Lyubov Sobol, Oleg Stepanov. Among other things, the websites of 39 regional headquarters of Navalny (included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of NPO-foreign agents, recognized as extremist and banned) and the FBK are subject to blocking.
• The day before, Roskomnadzor demanded that YouTube block the channels of Leonid Volkov, Vladimir Milov and Georgy Alburov (all of whom are supporters of Navalny).
