The Nauka multi-purpose module has successfully docked with the International Space Station. It is reported by TASS.

Docking to the Russian module of the ISS Zvezda was carried out in automatic mode; an unscheduled spacewalk of cosmonauts to assist in docking was not required.

The Proton-M launch vehicle with the Nauka module was launched on July 21. The next day, problems with the module's engines became known, due to which there was a risk that it would not be able to fly to the station. Roskosmos then reported that experts were checking the functionality of the module equipment.

After the docking, the head of Roskosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, admitted that “I had to worry for the first three days” due to the loss of telemetry, and promised to “unconditionally analyze” what had happened.
