The prosecutor of Syzran was detained in the case of attempting to receive a bribe of 3 million rubles

The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against Syzran prosecutor Vadim Fedorin for attempting to take a bribe of 3 million rubles (part 3 of article 30, part 6 of article 290 of the Criminal Code). This is reported on the department's website.

According to investigators , on July 30, the city prosecutor tried to obtain 3 million rubles from the intermediary “for committing obviously illegal actions.” He was detained.

Fedorin was appointed prosecutor of Syzran in August 2020. Before that, he headed the anti-corruption department of the Samara Region Prosecutor's Office.
