The book " Alchemy. Secret art and subtle science of magic in brands, business and life ”(not so long ago I went out at the ABC-Atticus publishing house) was written by Rori Sasraland, one of the leaders of the Ogilvy International Advertising Agency. In it, a well -known advertiser challenges a speculative cabinet models, the popularity of which is growing frightening pace in the modern world, "with its excess of economists, technocrats, managers, analysts, electric table administrators and algorithm developers." And in general it is clear why it is growing. “Logic showed itself so reliable in the natural sciences that now we believe that it is applicable everywhere - even in much more confusing human relations.” However, this does not work, and the author wittily and clearly explains the restrictions of such an approach. Usually, the writer Nassim Taleb, another irreconcilable opponent of total rationalization, was delighted with the book of the book of Suserland, declaring it by “a real breakthrough”. The chosen chapter is about linguistic confusion as a private example of human perception, (so far) not subject to algorithms.
