The authorities of the Rostov region banned unvaccinated residents from visiting post offices, MFCs and restaurant verandas without a PCR test

The governor of the Rostov region has banned visits to post offices, multifunctional centers, restaurant verandas and fitness clubs without a negative coronavirus test result or vaccination certificate. Vasily Golubev made the corresponding changes, significantly tightening anti-covid measures in the region, in a government decree .

According to the document, from August 4, without a vaccination certificate, a coronavirus certificate (valid for six months), or a negative PCR test for COVID-19, residents of the region will only be able to go for groceries and get to their place of work.

In the absence of the necessary certificates, state and municipal services can only be obtained remotely, the government clarifies. In this case, the result of the PCR test will be valid only for three calendar days.

In addition, the authorities forbade restaurants and cinemas to fill the halls by more than 30%; in a fitness club, one visitor must have at least 10 square meters of space. The activities of baths, saunas, attractions and water parks are suspended, mass indoor events without seating are canceled. At the same time, when checking into hotels, there are no restrictions for tourists entering the region.

The region also suspended medical examinations and planned hospitalization, except in cases where “the delay in the provision of medical care may lead to a deterioration in their condition, a threat to their life and health, including acute illnesses, injuries and exacerbations of chronic diseases.” However, medical examinations of conscripts will continue.

Emergency measures have been taken in the region due to the increase in the number of cases. On August 3, 444 new infections were registered in the region - this is the fifth indicator in Russia, after both capitals, the Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod regions. 18 people died per day. According to the regional operational headquarters, covid hospitals in the region are 85.6% loaded, 3,660 people are being treated there, and 7,737 patients with coronavirus receive medical care in total.

On August 1, it was planned to open a new infectious diseases hospital in Rostov, which urgently began to be built last summer. The Rostovgrazhdanproekt company, owned by Yevgeny Degtyarev, deputy of the Legislative Assembly from the United Russia party, and which received a construction contract without a tender, promised to hand over the facility in December. But then, through the court, she demanded to increase the estimate by 600 million rubles - up to 3.2 billion rubles. The government of the Rostov region said that the facility is 99% ready, but did not name a new date for the opening of the hospital.
