The head of Activision Blizzard has resigned amid a scandal involving discrimination against female employees at the company.

Jay Allen Brack, president of the American computer game company Activision Blizzard, stepped down after a scandal that erupted in the company due to discrimination against employees. His departure is stated on the company's website.

Brack will be replaced by former Vicarious Visions studio head Jen O'Nil and former Xbox vice president Mike Ybarra.

“With years of industry experience and a deep commitment to integrity and inclusion, we are confident that Jen and Mike will carefully guide Blizzard,” Activision Blizzard hopes.

Allen Brack has been running the company since 2018, having worked at Activision Blizzard for about 15 years, including on the World of Warcraft development team.

In late July, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing sued Breck's company. The lawsuit stated that employees of the company often abused alcohol, and also subjected employees to sexual harassment. The victims claimed that Allen Brack was aware of what was happening, but did nothing to normalize the climate in the team. As The Verge clarified , the company also denied employees career growth, citing the fact that they could get pregnant and they would “like being a mother.”
