FBK and the Foundation for the Defense of Citizens' Rights included in the list of extremist organizations

The Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK) and the Foundation for the Protection of Citizens' Rights (FZPG), created by Alexei Navalny, were included in the list of extremist organizations. Information about this was published on the Rosfinmonitoring website.

On August 4, the court, in an appeal, upheld the decision to recognize FBK and Navalny’s network of headquarters as extremist organizations. On August 6, Navalny’s headquarters, FBK and FZPG appeared on the Ministry of Justice’s list of extremist organizations.

• On June 9, the Moscow City Court recognized the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), the headquarters of Alexei Navalny and the Foundation for the Defense of Citizens' Rights (FZPG) as extremist organizations.
• On April 16, 2021, the Moscow Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit with the Moscow City Court demanding that the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), the Foundation for the Defense of Citizens' Rights (FZPG) and the headquarters of Alexei Navalny be recognized as extremist organizations. On April 19, the Moscow City Court classified the materials of the case on the ban of FBK and Navalny’s headquarters due to state secrets.
