Hackers who stole more than $600 million in various cryptocurrencies from users of the Poly Network blockchain platform began to voluntarily return the stolen assets. Poly Network itself announced this on Twitter.
According to the platform's latest data , $260 million worth of assets have already been returned. It remains to return the cryptocurrency for 353 million dollars.
Tom Robinson, co-founder of blockchain analytics firm Elliptic, suggested that the hackers hadn't found a way to retrieve the stolen assets and decided it was safer to return them.
