A psychiatric examination conducted at the Serbsky Institute as part of the case against Mikhail Khachaturyan has established that he committed violence against his three daughters, who are accused of murdering him . This was reported to TASS by the lawyers of the Khachaturyan sisters.
“These examinations [in relation to each of the sisters] confirmed all the facts of cruel treatment and sexual violence against the daughters by the father, previously established by other experts, but already within the framework of the criminal case against their father,” said Mari Davtyan, Angelina Khachaturyan’s lawyer.
According to the experts' findings, the Khachaturyan sisters had been suffering from abuse syndrome and post-traumatic stress disorder since 2014 due to their father's actions. They were unable to resist him and feared for their lives.
"Khachaturyan's relatives claim that the sisters made it all up because they suffer from a sexual disorder. But according to the experts' conclusion, they do not have such a disorder," said Alexey Liptser, Krestina Khachaturyan's lawyer.
Specialists also conducted a posthumous psychiatric examination of Khachaturyan. It showed his tendency toward aggression and cruelty, as well as "peculiar sexual preferences," TASS writes.
