Vitaly Borodin, a pro-government activist whose complaint led to the publication Proekt being declared an “undesirable” organization, filed a lawsuit to protect his honor and dignity against Proekt editor-in-chief Roman Badanin and the Dozhd TV channel.
As TASS reports, citing the claim, Borodin is demanding a million rubles in compensation for Badanin calling him "a worthless person, a nobody, a piece of scum." Badanin said this on Dozhd on August 7, saying that Borodin was filming his children.
In a conversation with TASS, Borodin noted that the Dozhd channel should have “cut off” Badanin’s remarks.
Borodin's claim was filed with the Ostankino Court of Moscow. It was registered on August 12. The date for the hearing of the claim has not yet been set.
