The former coordinator of the Pskov branch of Open Russia, Liya Milushkina, received 10 and a half years in a penal colony in a drug case with a suspended sentence until 2024. Writes about this "Pskov province".

Her husband, activist Artem Milushkin, who is involved in the same case, was sentenced to 11 years in a strict regime colony. He broke a bench in a cage in the courtroom after he was sentenced.

• Liya Milushkina and her husband Artem were detained in January 2019. They were accused of selling drugs on a large scale (Part 4 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code). Artem Milushkin was also accused of organizing arson.
• The Milushkins pleaded not guilty. They called the case politically motivated. Artem Milushkin claimed that in November 2018, the police threatened to plant drugs on him.
• The prosecutor's office requested 12 years in a general regime colony for Liya Milushkina, and 16 years in a strict regime colony for Artyom.
