The Kirovsky District Court of Saratov imposed a fine of 30 thousand rubles on 21-year-old Ilya Kuleshov in the case of spraying police at a protest rally on April 21. This was reported by the regional department of the Investigative Committee and the prosecutor's office .

According to investigators, Kuleshov did not want to be punished for participating in an unsanctioned rally, and sprayed a gas can into the face and neck of two police officers who tried to detain him near the checkpoint of the city department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. “The defendant fully admitted his guilt and repented of his actions,” the Investigative Committee clarified. He was charged with using harmless violence against government officials (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code).
