- You reacted quite emotionally on Twitter to a recent story with a woman smoking on an airplane. The non -professional is not entirely clear: what is the drama?
- I will answer this question both from the position of the ship’s commander and from the position of the passenger. Why such a reaction? Well, firstly, everything related to lawlessness on board, some kind of hooligan outputs, ribs and violations of the rules, I perceive emotionally. Why? Because I am a commander, I have been in aviation for almost 40 years. Therefore, I perfectly understand how disasters occur, and I miss all this through myself. This is about my reaction and my perception as a commander.

As for perception from the point of view of the passenger - it is just arrogance, the call of this woman is drunk, spit on the rules, on all people sitting on an airplane. So demonstratively get this cigar, smoke. Like, I am not interested in either your aviation rules, nor your health, nor that you are sitting in a closed space and breathing with this muck, which I emit my own. And I won’t even hide in the toilet, modestly somehow, and I will get this cigar and I will smoke you all in the face, in the business class. That is why such a reaction in networks, the crew, and everyone else. Normal reaction.
- You are one of the few professionals, in particular in Russian aviation, who publicly express their private opinion. Why?
- It so happened that, besides the fact that I work in Aeroflot, I still live in Russia and are a citizen of this country. According to the documents of Aeroflot, I must perform certain functions as the aircraft commander: I must adhere to corporate ethics, I must be healthy and so on - all the requirements that the pilot and commander are presented.
And there are also the laws of the Russian Federation that I live. I do not live according to the laws of the airline, but live according to the laws of the Russian Federation. I emphasize everywhere that I express my personal opinion, and if someone does not like it or he has no arguments to object to me, then he says: “How does he fly? How does he even go through the medical board? How did he still have not fired? " I know these issues by heart, so I explain to people this way - that I live according to the laws of the Russian Federation. If you don’t like something in me, if you think that I insulted you or in your feelings I somehow humiliated you, there is a court, go to court, we will meet with you in court, and I will defend my point of view in court. It’s not your boss in the office, you don’t have to write to my leaders to Aeroflot (this happened, and more than once), do not ... I have a greater influence on me than the Aeroflot airline, so I can give you the mail, write to her, we will deal with her.
- I heard the story that the RT television company was allegedly offended for you about the person who planted the plane in the corn field from which they made the hero, which, in general, is good, you just need to fly on airplanes, and then it will not be necessary to put in corn.
- This is "Tsargrad", not RT. I will explain this situation. The fact is that I am always a supporter of a very thorough investigation of all aviation events, and this is normal. This is not done in order to reward someone or punish someone, but to continue to exclude this situation. This is very important from a professional point of view. So I can now ask the “Constantinople” - where is the investigation of the poppy? No. There is no investigation and there will be no, because people have not yet managed to get out of corn, and they have already been hanged by the medals to everyone. After all, this case is compared with the case when the commander put the airbus on the Hudsone. So, there was an investigation for five months, and five months later, when it became clear that the commander did everything correctly, that he acted according to the documents and instructions that he was professionally at a height, after which he was awarded. And this is for this behavior: the plane falls, passengers almost die, the plane to smithereens, and on the second day they are declared heroes, without any imprisonment of the commission.
- At the same time, the plane itself is still there in this field.
- Yes, the plane is lying there. Well, let the heroes come and collect their scrap metal, which they scattered there. And to this day, I put up for all aviation events to be carefully investigated, it is from a professional point of view that this is very important. Let them answer, let them bring here to us all the decoding of poppy, the decoding of this flight. So I’ll tell you, the fact is that aviation is very closely interconnected, and we all know each other not for years, but for decades: we, you, know, as a large village, in aviation. Well, the same, probably, as in journalism, as in show business and in other industries. So, this decoding was known to us already on the second day, it is unofficial, but I saw it, this decoding. That is why I have reason to talk about what you are asking me.

- I want to return to Irkutsk history. It seems to me that then you have done a thing that few people expect from professionals in Russia - they took the side of people, and not to the side of the authorities. Well, somehow it is customary to take the side of the authorities.
- I don’t know who is accepted from, but all my life I was taught to take care of passengers and about the expensive technique that they trust me.
- Other pilots delay the plane?
- I cannot be responsible for other pilots. But when this situation happened to me, the general director of Aeroflot Savelyev supported me and said that I created a very good precedent. And by the way, then there were fewer such arrogant actions that were very often, and these delays through the fault of officials.
- In 2021, many people began to be afraid to speak openly about what bothers them in our country.
“Well, I have not heard someone to go out, president or prime minister, and said:“ We ask you not to tell you on acute topics, we ask you to be silent. ”
- It seems that in the Soviet Union, too, no one said that they were asked to be silent, and people knew that they had to be silent.
- Then they said. It was believed that it was anti -Soviet propaganda, even there was such a term. Now propaganda "Anti" - which one?
- Some say anti -Russian.
- Why anti -Russian? Am I against Russia? Or someone ... Well, for example, I did not hear that the same Navalny said "I am against Russia."
- Let's formulate the question differently. Have you noticed that people began to be afraid?
- Yes, I noticed, of course. But it depends not only on the external factor, it still depends specifically on each person. And one cannot condemn a person for being afraid. Someone is afraid of spiders, for example, and someone catches them, these spiders. It is impossible to condemn the person who is afraid of spiders for the fact that he is simply afraid. But this does not mean that spiders cannot be caught. You think I'm not afraid, do you think I'm so brave? Maybe I'm not afraid to say something, but I'm afraid of some other things. The point is that a person can overcome his fear for the sake of some idea.
-Was there a moment in your professional activity when you were faced with some obvious injustice and said nothing?
- You know, it’s purely professionally I probably don’t remember this. I can say, for example, to passengers that for technical reasons, for example, we have a delay or something like that without explaining these technical reasons. Because, firstly, they still will not understand this, they will not be prepared, the second-so that additional questions do not arise, on which ... you know, when you start talking about aviation and the more answers, the more questions arise in people.

-I was more likely asking this: for example, there was something bad related to aviation. You were asked, and you decided: this time it is better to keep silent?
- No, I don’t remember this, usually I express my opinion openly. True, I am not always right. And if they convince me in my wrong, then I think that I have to apologize and admit my wrong.
- Turning to political history, it does not seem to you that you went to politics a little into the anti -income of the processes that occur in the country? The country is closing, we have insulation, dictatorship, restriction of any freedoms. And now you say at this moment that you are going to politics, a rather large, federal policy in order to honestly work for the benefit of the country.
- Well, I never thought that working for the good of the country is a crime. I’m not going to some kind of criminal group or somewhere, I don’t know, in some kind of informal organization. I go to the State Duma, where I want to apply my knowledge. I would be interested to work out there by civil aviation, I know all this kitchen from the inside. Our laws are so outdated, I think that this applies not only to civil aviation, but I am talking to myself. It would be interesting for me to change a lot of laws that interfere with the development of civil aviation, well, there is no need to talk about small aviation at all, we simply do not have a de facto.
But I am also not a naive person, I understand that I can’t deal with these issues only. Now we have moved to political issues. I can tell you right away that I would never do.
I would never vote for raising the retirement age, even under the muzzle of a machine gun.
Let me be expelled from this State Duma, they would have expelled with shame, I don’t know, with music, to the carpets so that I would go to be driven directly from there with rags, but I would never vote for raising the retirement age. I believe that this is the betrayal of our old people, and they did not deserve such an attitude.
-Are there any other laws for which you would not vote, well, of those that act in modern Russia?
- You know, probably, there are many such laws for which I would not vote.
- And would they vote for the accession of Crimea?
-They often ask me this provocative question-for the accession of Crimea, for ... For some reason they are not asked a question about the Kuril Islands ...
- Well, because nothing has happened to them for now, they, as in 1945, are actually as part of Russia, so there is no law. And Crimea was seven years ago in one state, and now in another.
- You know, in a hundred years this Crimea has already passed from hand to hand at different times.
“There were two deputies who voted against,” Ilya Ponomarev and Dmitry Gudkov, then they were both in the faction of “Just Russia” and, probably, would also not vote for raising the retirement age if they continued their work in Russian politics and in the Duma in particular. ” Both are now in exile and under the threat of criminal cases.
“Well, I don’t think they ... [left] because they did not vote.”
- Well, they squeezed them out of the Duma, including therefore.
-They squeezed out-perhaps, but I do not think that they began to pursue them on some criminal cases only because they did not vote ... well, they did not vote, so what? So what? Here, let's say, I would not vote, and what? My vote is decisive, or what? We understand at what level these issues are resolved.

- You can have a different question. Let's say there are people who needed a deputy who would say in the Duma that in fairness it was necessary to somehow decide the fate of Crimea. Such citizens in the Russian Federation are not the majority, but not one million people. These citizens now do not have a single deputy who would represent our interests in the Duma on the issue of both Ukrainian conflict and many other things.
“I understand what you are talking about.” But you do not choose a wizard who will say now: you know, I would not vote for the accession of Crimea. And everyone would say: “Yes, indeed, everything, then we do not attach Crimea,” for example. Or vice versa. That is, my voice is the voice of a crying in the desert.
- But it sometimes happens sometimes.
- Yes, it is valuable. You know, of course, it’s easier to analyze flights when everything has already happened, and now it’s difficult to return it back, it’s difficult to rewind it. So now these are these questions: "But what would you do?" Honestly, you know how: in fairness. To do this, I had to delve into, understand this issue at the moment of time when he arose, this question, not now. And to give an objective answer to your direct question, I had to be a deputy then. After all, you yourself said, Gudkov and Ponomarev did not vote. Maybe I would be the third. But for this I had to be a deputy then and understand the situation that was at that time.
- Well, it is accepted. I did not really want to focus on this issue, it is symbolic in nature.
- This is normal.
-This is the question that my colleagues-journalists are now asking everyone who goes to politics. What do you think about the conclusion of Navalny and do you consider it political prisoner?
“I saw people crawling out of this question ... I will try to answer as honestly as possible.”
First - I know Alexei personally, and he knows me. He was in our Council of Directors of Aeroflot, so I have known him for a long time, and by the way, he treats me very well. We even corresponded for a while, for a very long time it was, even before all these troubles.
- With a high degree of probability, he will read our conversation, because the “new newspaper” is prescribed in the colonies.
- I am not the person who, if everyone shouts: “Atu is him! Atu him! ”, I will scream. Therefore, only because many people do not like Navalny, or only because many people like him, I am not going to occupy one or another position, I have my own position, it is positive in many issues. There are, of course, moments that are controversial, but in principle of some crime [in the activities of Navalny] I do not see.
Now the next half of your question: "Do you think it is political prisoner?" How can I answer your question - by law or by concepts? These are different answers. Look, for example, a person crosses the street to a red light and screams-I am against a party that he does not like. He is stopped by a policeman and fines him for the wrong crossing of the road to the red light. What is it - political? Or is it because he switched to the red light?
According to the law, we have no political prisoners, that is, no one was imprisoned only because you screamed the wrong party or voted not as it was necessary to vote. And for the fact that Navalny annoys someone and says some things, they recall him that he "stood under the arrow" or "swimming for buoys." This, of course, is vilely and ugly, it causes such a sediment. And I will tell you whose responsibility it is. This is the responsibility of those people who carry out these sentences, these are people who accuse the person, these are people who make a decision who can call and ask them to make this decision, and not some other, is their responsibility.
I don’t understand and I can’t imagine how, for example, to me, the commander of the ship, for example, my immediate superior, even the general director of Aeroflot, will call, and say: “Andrei Aleksandrovich, my friend will fly there, you must take him a“ hare ”, without a ticket.” I will say: “Please excuse Mr. General Director, but you will arrange a ticket, as it should be, to a person, and let him fly, I will take him, for the sake of God. No one will fly without a ticket on my plane. ” I also can’t imagine how my instructor can call me and say: “Andrey Alexandrovich, listen, outweigh the prohibited items.” I don't understand this. And I also never understand, we plant it like that, the dispatcher, who was said: “Delay the flight regular, on which 120 passengers are sitting because we are waiting for the governor.” So I would get up at the site of the dispatcher and say: “Please sit down behind the remote control and delay the flight yourself. I have no reason for this. ”

- I like this story of the “ commander ” of the court, which is responsible for everything that happens in court.
- This is the responsibility of each person at his workplace. And if you allow negligence, you commit some crime if you commit some things that contradict your professional ethics and behavior, according to someone’s pointer, these are your problems, and not the one who gave you an indication.
But this is not so.
- She is.

- It's clear.
- No, not all.

- The last question.
