Police officers came to the former coordinator of the headquarters of Navalny in Makhachkala Eduard Ataev in connection with a single picket against lawlessness in the city. This was reported by the publication "Caucasus. Realii".

On August 13, the local Ministry of Internal Affairs issued a warning to the activist "On the inadmissibility of actions creating the conditions for the commission of crimes and administrative violations." The security forces said they have information about Ataev’s plans to participate in the rally in support of Navalny.

On August 16, the activist held a single picket near the buildings of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Makhachkala - he came out with the poster of the Khasavyurt district under the control of the criminal group.

Then they left, they did not draw up the protocol and did not take it to the department, ”said Ataev.
