The Tagansky District Court of Moscow fined Google six million rubles under the article on failure to remove “prohibited content” at the request of the authorities (parts 2 and 4 of article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This is reported by Novaya Gazeta.
The court imposed a fine of two million rubles each for three protocols on non-removal of prohibited publications.
Roskomnadzor regularly files lawsuits against Google, Facebook and Twitter . In May, the department filed the first lawsuit against the company in connection with the requirement to remove 12 links to YouTube with calls for participation in January actions in support of Alexei Navalny. On May 25, the court fined Google four million rubles for the first time.
