Russia imposed sanctions against the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry

Russia has expanded the list of Ukrainian citizens against whom sanctions have been imposed. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The updated sanctions list includes 73 people.

Among them are Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksiy Danilov, head of the Accounts Chamber Valeriy Patskan, Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova.

• Personal sanctions against Ukrainian officials have been introduced since 2018. Russian assets and property of sanctioned people are blocked.
• So far, the last time the sanctions list was replenished was in December 2020. Now there are 922 citizens of Ukraine in it.
