Well, we are already used to the fact that the domestic repressive machine is gaining maximum move by Friday. Why so, we are unknown. Perhaps this is the heritage of ancient times, when the presidential administration was still experiencing due to a media reaction to certain events. Here the calculation is quite obvious and primitive-on weekends many publications do not work, and in a couple of days, you see, something else will happen, attention will switch, and thus, the negative reaction will be level. It is clear that today these reasons look like an anachronism, but, nevertheless, the scheme continues to work.

Last Friday it became known that the Rain TV channel and the publication of important stories were made by the Ministry of Justice in the register of media-agent. Once again, we pay attention to the absolutely unlawful, voluntarist nature of the whole procedure. The current law is such that it does not even oblige officials to argue their position, explain the reasons for which the decision is made to society and the discriminated media. It’s all the same, as if a person comes to you on the street, he will introduce the Ministry of Justice as an employee of the Ministry of Justice, give a notice and say that from this minute you can still go to work, but you must fulfill the relevant rules - to submit in a special way, submit additional reports, march any post on social networks. For failure to fulfill the requirements - a considerable fine. And to the question, for what reason such an attack fell on you, the official is not obliged to answer. He had already left, put the document in your hands and disappeared into the crowd.

“Important stories” who have entered the register publish really super important stories. For example, about the scandalous "Panama archive". However, “important stories” are at least registered in Latvia, and “rain” is 100% Russian TV channel. Last Saturday, several journalists and activists held pickets near the FSB building in support of the repressed media. Almost all picketers were detained. Now they are facing a fine or public work. The appropriate institutions also spoke out. For example, the Union of Journalists “expressed concern”, and the Human Rights Council went even further-his head Valery Fadeev said that he would invite someone from the Ministry of Justice to clarify the current situation. This, we note, is almost a front.

And at the head of state the weekend was more important than to delve into the causes of attacks on independent media. (Moreover, he is well aware of them.) At a meeting with representatives of the United Russia party, President Putin made a number of amazing statements. Firstly, he informed the State Partyers that Russia "passed the pandemic more effective than many developed countries." It is obvious from this statement that the epidemic is stopped. But the epidemic in Russia is not stopped, it is in full swing. However, none of the presidential interlocutors indicated this inconsistency with the head of state. Which is not surprising, since Mr. Putin made their parties an unheard of gift. He proposed United Russia after it forms a faction in the new composition of the State Duma, initiate one -time payments to all Russian pensioners (10 thousand rubles each) and all Russian military personnel (15 thousand rubles each). This is the most frank bribery of voters in its classical form.

As a matter of fact, the two stories, which have faved in a couple of days, very accurately characterize the main trend of the current Russian policy - to give out the dead for the living (and “United Russia”, of course, is a dead organism), and destroy all living things in the bud. And in this sense, the rain attack should not cause surprise.
