The Investigative Committee began a pre-investigation check due to an attack by a Kaliningrad police officer on a bartender, according to the website of the regional department of the agency.
The bartender filed a statement against the security officer about the beating. “The conflict in the bar was caused by a 28-year-old off-duty employee of one of the internal affairs departments,” the police say. The Ministry of Internal Affairs began an internal audit and promised to fire the employee.
According to the data, the policeman's name is Denis Buyanov. CCTV footage shows a drunken security officer threatening a bartender, trying to hit him and knocking a cash register to the floor. Then the MIA officer comes behind the bar and grabs the bartender by the neck. The publication clarifies that Buyanov had a gas pistol with him.
