According to the Dagestan Ministry of Internal Affairs, until 2017-2018, the number of those who left was from 300 to 500 people annually, but in unofficial sources - much more. Young families left their parents in Dagestan. The conflict destroyed families and the connection between entire generations. Most men who left to fight died. While young girls with children in their arms were left without a livelihood and roof over their heads. Some of them went missing, some were captured, prisons or in unbearable conditions of refugees camps. Their parents, mothers, grandmothers are ready for anything to return their children back to Dagestan. They sleep in an embrace with phones - there are their whole life: the hope of telephone communication with relatives, a group of mutual assistance of mothers, where women exchange information, clinging to any of her crumbs in attempts to help their children and grandchildren. I tell the brief stories of girls in Syria and Iraq, the mouth of their mothers. I will project photos of girls and grandchildren on the figures of mothers and grandmothers. I am trying to show the inextricable, kinship between them.
*IG ("Islamic State") is a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation.
From the editorial office
The heroines, who will be discussed below, made their choice themselves either under the influence of loved ones, and many of them, we would be honest, understood what they were going to the logs of terrorists. However, these are still Russian citizens, and, as it were, the duty of Russia is to contribute to their return to their homeland.

- Ashura was smart, she graduated from a school with a gold medal. In 1997, she got married, began to live with Mohammad. They left in 2014, they told us that in Egypt to study Islam. There, they say, much easier and more accessible than in Dagestan. We believed. They took two children with them - Abdulu and Abdurahman. I was worried, attached to my grandchildren. Since 2015, communication has become rare, it was possible to contact once every few months.
Only in 2018 did we learn that Ashura with the children is in the al-Khol camp in Syria, and her husband died. I was not in myself at that moment. I was crying all day, I didn’t find a place for myself. I did not know what kind of place it was, I was shocked by Syria.
Then, by photographs from the group of mutual assistance of mothers in Watsap, we learned that it was a whole city, about 70 thousand people live there, as in our Kizilyurt. Now we already know this Syria on cards along and across, life forced life.
The daughter tells absolutely wild things about the camp. They give food, but only dry rations, and sometimes it does not have it at all, in this case you have to eat raw flour, and if it is not there, then they take food from livestock belonging to the Kurds. Food is a humanitarian until it is brought, they are starving there. In which she lives with four children (two more were born there), the rain in the fall, snow - in the winter, has to sleep in jackets. They can go inside at any moment and anyone else that will find, everyone takes away, including personal belongings. A little “wrong”, the camp protection can hit with an butt. They are treated like cattle.

It’s as if I live there with them, in this situation, every day, every minute. I sit in groups of mothers and at night too. My husband tells me that I will soon become bad from this phone.
- My girl Ziirat studied at the Humanitarian Academy at Khasavyurt at the faculty of linguistics, studied English and Arabic. I was against her wedding, I wanted to finish my studies. But he and the groom met secretly. One day my daughter was stolen. According to our custom, if this happens, then it is not customary to return the girl home. They seemed to be well built, they built a house, children were born.

I remember that before Uraza in 2015, the husband Ziyrat went to Moscow to buy a car. As a result, he did not work out with the car, he called and said that he was going to Turkey and wants to pick up his daughter with children, they say, they will rest until September 1, well, some work can turn him up. I supported this idea: my daughter was sick lately.
From the plane, the daughter sent a photo, then from the ferry - they say, they float to the place where they will live. And then all. The connection has disappeared. I didn’t think that I sank a ferry ... We all killed here, the whole family with two children disappeared. I began to beat all the bells.
Then she called herself. She cried and asked for forgiveness. She said that she was in the “Islamic State” (prohibited in the Russian Federation. - “New” ) . We still do not understand what could make them leave.
Three months later, her husband went missing, and her daughter was determined in the widow of the house. In 2017, they were seen in Tall Afare, where they, apparently, were taken out of Mosul-I have not talked to her since 2016. There was information that she again married her second wife, so as not to stay on the street. Then the city was stormed. Various rumors reached us, including that the house, where there was Ziyarat with the children, blew up, but there was supposedly there was a list with the names of the survivors and it seemed to be the names Ziirat with children. I believed. I just don't want to think about the worst, otherwise unbearable.

It is very strange for me to observe the fact that many countries neighboring with Russia took their citizens to their homeland. And Denmark took out, and Norway, too. Yes, we also have a lot of work in Russia, but there are so many girls there, with children in their arms. They must be returned, try to do everything for this.
I often began to go to the river bank near the house: I sit, watch how water flows, passing all my thoughts there and get a positive resource. I am restless by the sea. The sea did not accept me, I all the time saw a daughter who called for help on the other side, and the river heals. And also our fruit garden, in which my grandchildren played, flowers. I come there with the thought that someday they will run through the foliage again.
I even joked at Naida, because she wanted to go to a programmer at the university, - she said that she would not get there. And then I look - the notice came that it had done. I was amazed.

The university was located in Makhachkala, well, we thought that she went to study. Then they called us from there and said that the daughter did not go to classes. It turns out that instead of lessons, she went to the mosque. There, apparently, it was well processed. She began to dress in black, although before that she was a fashionista, she wore everything bright, airy, loved to sing and dance national dances. How many of these things had broken blacks, I really did not want it to go along this line.
Once my daughter simply did not come home. Gone for a month. Then he sends SMS: “Mom, persuade our uncle, so as not to be angry with me, I get married, please do not bother me, I am happy.” After long quarrels, we decided to still leave her with the newly-made husband alone.
Well, he took her to Moscow, and then to the IG. In 2016 - I don't know what month -
He calls and says that they gave them a house in Mosul. But someone was evicted to populate them there. After all, so everything worked there. What is Islam? The owners probably cursed them for this.
I cried, of course. She also said that they had some kind of caliph (patron, the highest title of Muslims.- “New” ) , which gives them all amenities. Oh, how I scolded them then. The daughter was very offended, but still confessed that the pregnant woman was waiting for the appearance of the child in February. This was our last conversation. Through the rumors and crumbs of the information, it was possible to find out that she gave birth to a boy who was called Muhammad, we never saw him. He should be five years now, he probably talks already.

Eldar lived far - in Nizhnevartovsk - about 10 years. There he married a girl Albin, also Dagestan. He worked hard there. Once in 2015 we arrived on vacation, I stayed with me for 45 days. This was the last time I saw them with my own eyes. Too late, I found out about their departure when they were already in Turkey. He said that he was doing business there with a friend. At some point, he disappeared with his wife and two children-Samira and Abdulmin. And then I found out that they were in Syria. To be honest, I did not believe at first, because he told me: "Mom, am I a fool, or something to go?" And such anger was in me, to which he answered: "Mom, I'm sorry, it happened." He regretted it, since he asked for forgiveness, but there was no way back, because the passports of everyone who comes to live there is burned. Consider one way the road.

Then, in 2017, Albina told my daughter that her son was dead. I then worked on the market, I came home, just was Uraza. I was numb with horror. Then I had the hope that maybe there is some little chance that he is alive, because they find people in prisons, wounded. In the maternal group in Watsap, one woman wrote that her son had found her son after three years. Maybe mine is also somewhere there, in the dark.
For me it was a dream, I did not understand that reality could be so cruel. After all, my daughter also died in Syria: in El Kishma, during a bombing, they blew up her family’s house along with two more children, whom she tried to close with her body. So, the story of the daughter repeated in a circle and with my son. It turns out that this war entered the door of my house and remained here. I always thought that parents were leaving before children, but fate turned everything over.

Since 2015, my son -in -law began to go to the mosque, to read prayers actively. A year later, the daughter and granddaughter of the eldest also began to walk with him, taught Arabic. Martin, my daughter’s husband, strictly made sure that older children clearly pronounced all the sounds in prayers. Well, in our Islam it is accepted that the child from the age of seven begins to pray regardless of some external factors. Later, my daughter Madina told me to read the Qur'an diligently, well, I bought a translation into Russian, promised that I would read.

At the same time, the daughter began to dress in black. As a result, some rumors went around Martin that, they say, he went the wrong way. It has become too religious. Martin stopped communicating with his parents.
Once they decided to go to visit me, in Nefteyugansk, I did not go to work on the alleged day of their arrival, I decided to wait. I'm sitting a day, two - no. Only two weeks later they called from the village and told me that the young, together with five children, were in Turkey. Then they wrote to me, so that I would not worry, they said that they would live there, buy a house or apartment.
There they lived for two years, as far as I know.
I did not follow the moment when they moved from Turkey to the Islamic State. The connection was very rare, and then disappeared altogether. In early 2019, the daughter called, said they were in Syria. Such bombing began that even the children were not taken out. Once a bullet touched her ear, still a little to the side - and she would not be alive, a miracle saved.
Judging by the scraps of information and the words of the daughter,
I approximately understood the picture: they, like nomads, moved from the village to the village so as not to die. As a result, Martin went missing, and his daughter hit the widow's house.
Later, fleeing the next bombing, women fled to a safe place. During this transition, Sniper shot my granddaughter Jasmine. She was like a boy, I remember her six years, she caught lizards, she was naughty. Because of this, I could not forgive Martin. And because of everything that happened to the daughter as a whole.

After the laid, she was captured by the Kurds and found herself in the al-Hol camp. People around were very cruel, humiliated, beat. The daughter does not agree to send children to me, he says that where the mother, there are children there. And the eldest granddaughter of Madin, she is 15 years old, herself does not want to go without her mother. He says that he does not want to lose anyone else in his life.
Ahmedkhan was an athlete, received higher education in St. Petersburg, in Lesgaft (National State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Health named after P.F. Lesgft, St. Petersburg.- “New” ) . We talked often. And in one of the conversations, he told me: "Mom, I want to study Islam." After the first year I went to Egypt - see how it lives there. From there he writes to me that he decided to enter al-Azhar (one of the most prestigious Muslim spiritual universities in Cairo.- “New” ) . I began to lament: "Son, we dream of marrying you that you have a family." He reassured me, said that he did not intend to do anything bad, and then the connection was interrupted for six months, probably.

I began to delve into social networks, found his page. I found the girl Gulnara for his friends, I studied her page and began to write to her. She turned out to be his wife. They got married in Syria, but before that they were not familiar. When sobbing, the girl informed me that the son was blown up, and she herself in the third month, she waits for a child in her sister's house.
Gulnara told me that they were there with a desire to observe pure Islam, but the result was porridge and complete disappointment. I suspect so, they were presented with all this in a beautiful form, they say, our brothers, sisters suffer there, we need to help. And my son is such a person, the first will go to the rescue. Yes, and he was a young, gullible. He was not 20 when he was gone.
We started correspondence with her, searched for various paths. How to get her out of the al-Khol camp, where she was after hostilities with a six-year-old boy. The boy is Osama, my grandson, have never seen his father, this is a tragedy. And he did not see another life - he was born under the bombs, but grows in the camp.

Madina married at the age of 15 for the son of my sister, my nephew. He abducted her, we have such traditions. We lived in the apartment, far from us, so we did not particularly delve into their everyday life, but it seems that everything was fine. Marriage as a marriage. The son -in -law grew up in an orphanage. Living parents abandoned him and his two brothers who chose to build their new lives. He was happy that he had his own family. He treated well, was modest and refused any help.

Recently, it has changed a lot, has become aggressive, evil. I did not want to work in a bakery, where I got a job shortly before. He put Madin in a hijab, although she loved to paint, and wore mini-skirts before marriage.
The guy rushed about, at first he wanted to go to St. Petersburg to work, then he decided to go to Egypt to study. Madina made a barrier and left with her one -year -old daughter Khadizh after him. She wanted this herself and considered it her duty to leave after her husband, loved him.
At first, beautiful pictures were sent - as if from a fairy tale, but they became darker and darker. Long beards, black clothes.
They said that they crossed the Syrian-Turkish border, risking their lives.
It was hard for me to keep contact with her, it hurt too much, so communication happened to my youngest daughter. Yes, and she shared with her more willing to events from life, maybe because she did not scold her during his departure.

Time passed, the situation worsened. They began to realize where they went. The son -in -law announced the idea of sending Madin and the children, who were already three at that time, back to Russia, but found out that he was put on the wanted list here, as a result, he changed his mind. He was killed. Madina married a second time to get at least some help, it was a step of hopelessness. This Ingush also died, but from him she also had an Abdul boy. And then - bombing, bombing. Once she called me to say goodbye, they say, we are sitting with the children in the trench, perhaps we will not come out alive. I wanted to get my blessing. Hadizh's granddaughter agrees without a mother to return, although at first she did not dare to go to this step. If it returns, we will have the first meeting with her. If I live to live before. Inlala.
